ASV DOLOMITI BALLOONFESTIVAL

Each spring, the South Tyrolean village of Toblach-Dobbiaco becomes the unlikely stage for one of Europe's most visually arresting spectacles. The Dolomiti Balloon Festival transforms the Pusteria Valley into a canvas of floating colour, as dozens of hot air balloons rise against the jagged limestone peaks that UNESCO has rightly deemed worthy of World Heritage status.
