When Verso chose Fornasetti’s home products, perfumes and ceramics, they showed their clients the direction they want to go. Verso Casa  will certainly follow up with more designers, high quality, unique pieces, similar to the starting collection presented in the store today.

To start off this new venture Mr Luc Dheedene, owner of Verso announced the opening of  Verso Casa while Mr. Barnaba Fornasetti made an insightful presentation of the Fornasseti history, its art and craftsmanship. It all came pouring out straight from the source, accompanied by the timeless pieces and creations that were on display. One can only admire the persistence in quality and art while remaining true to their philosophy and strategy as a company.

Forasetti Design

The Fornasetti story is full of Italian history, craftsmanship, thirst for art, rebellion and striving to make a mix of it all to create what Fornasetti stands for today. The home products and accessories go back to the uniqueness of the original print and design. Fornasetti’s products and the collaboration between craft and art speak for themselves and when one gets to know Mr. Barnaba Fornasetti as well, the puzzle is solved. This is the man who has melted the legacy of his father Piero into the future of the Fornasetti enterprise. Mr Fornasetti acknowledges that recreating all the original designs of his father was a very challenging task as the high standards  Fornasetti set needed to remain intact.

Mr.Barnaba Fornasetti, as a man and an artist, is very well aware of everything that surrounds him. He is a person who applies his observations into his work as well as into his personal life. In times when the world is in crisis, he concludes  that humanity is especially hungry for social-, artistic- and ethical values. For the proud Italian that he is, he contemplates the past, present and future values of his company, but in a greater context also his country, society, art and politics in which he all seems to be actively involved. He leads his company into contemporary currents, never touching or bending the original definition of what Fornasetti stands for, however.

Il Profvmo

The latest line of ceramics mixed with the ‘Otto’ perfume that was created especially for the new collection by Mr. Olivier Polge, son of the well known perfumer Jacques Polge of Grasse (France) and in colloration with Il Profvumo is a success in many ways. It wakes and satisfies all the senses equally. This is added value to the products, which designs and the scents are skillfully mixed to identify Fornasetti’s Italian and Mediterranean core.
